“Social Justice Center
Stage”
Multi-Media Contest for
Teens (Ages 14-18)
Sponsored by: Social
Justice Fund for Ventura
County
Social
Justice is more relevant in today’s world than ever before! From international
movements (the Arab Spring) to national concerns (the Dream Act) to California issues
(college tuition increases) to your own neighborhood and school (prejudice and
bullying), social justice is shaping our lives and will greatly impact our
future.
This
year the Social Justice Fund for
Ventura County is focusing on YOUTH and social justice. To celebrate teens, we invite you to
participate in a contest to express what social justice means to you and / or
identify an issue or change you would like to implement in your community.
