One Step a la Vez Center

Welcome To The One Step Center

"Making Changes Poco a Poco"

How one person, one committee, one idea,  can change a community!
One Step A La Vez began in 2004 when a committee of 12 high school youth started to look into improved mental health care for the youth of Fillmore and Piru. The name One Step A La Vez was chosen by the youth committee in 2005 to show that you can always take One Step At A Time toward a positive future.  The organization title uses both English and Spanish words to reflect and value the dual heritage of our community.

  • The OSALV Center is located at 421 Sespe Ave. Fillmore, CA 93015.  We rent the Fellowship Hall and offices of the United Methodist building.  We have a large banner with our name on the fence near the entrance.
